Ivy Lin is a driven young individual who strives to empower vulnerable communities worldwide. Growing up, she often heard the phrase “true leaders lift others as they climb”, instilling in her a deep sense of equality and justice.
In September, Ivy was invited to attend the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Ages of Globalization (AoG) initiative "Education for Peace & Planet". This event, held on the sidelines of the UNGA, featured Professor Jeffrey D. Sachs and brought together educators, students, and policymakers to promote systems thinking and education for sustainable development, connecting historical roots to future solutions.
Ivy connected with peers from Kazakhstan, the United States, China, the UK, and more during her time at UNGA, exchanging ideas with like‑minded youth committed to global dialogue and social justice.
